David Hoover grew up on a family farm near Newark, Ohio and is a graduate of Miami University. He began his career working at a forklift dealership, before founding Forklift Training Systems in 1998. The company has grown into one of the nation’s largest mobile equipment training providers, providing safety training to all 50 states and forklift safety products worldwide. He has trained more than 10,000 forklift and mobile elevating work platform operators and many thousands of trainers. David also serves as an expert witness in Federal and State cases involving forklift fatalities and serious injuries. Forklift Training Systems clients include many well-known companies, such as Scotts, Costco, Whirlpool and Cardinal Health, just to name a few.
