Gilbane Building Company

Scott is the Business Unit Safety Manager for Gilbane Building Company’s Ohio and Western Pennsylvania locations. He has more than 28 years of experience in the safety, health, and environmental field while working within the power transmission and distribution, oil and gas, and GC sectors. He began his career in the power transmission industry in 1994, where he worked throughout the U.S., Belize, Guam and Africa. In 2006, he transitioned to oil and gas and eventually moved to general contractor / construction management sector where he has remained.

Scott attended Hinds Community College, The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Columbia Southern University. He is a member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). He holds the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) designation, the Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) designation and is a recognized Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
