Dana “Buck” Buchholzer
Midwest Underground Technologies, Inc.
Dana “Buck” Buchholzer has been involved in the construction industry for more than 50 years. He is an experienced heavy equipment operator with a background in the repair, maintenance, design and sales of construction equipment. He is the founder and President of Midwest Underground Technologies, Inc., a company formed to specialize exclusively on all aspects of excavation safety.
The training programs Buck has developed on excavation safety and rescue are recognized as the most advanced and complete programs available in the country. He has been recognized as an approved instructor for the Federal Government, the State of Ohio, ODOT, OEPA and the State Fire School, National Utilities Contractors Association (NUCA), Ohio Contractors Association (OCA), Ohio Gas Association (OGA), Multiple Shoring Manufactures, NAXSA and numerous safety organizations. He provides consultation on jobsite specific applications of excavation safety equipment and systems and conducts Competent Person Excavation Safety training classes.
