Public Awareness/Services Coordinator, Ohio Utilities Protection Service (OUPS)
George Gillespie is a Public Awareness/Services Coordinator for Ohio Utilities Protection Service (OUPS). He is an active volunteer in the construction community from serving as a treasurer for the Central Ohio Damage Prevention Council to conducting over 200 awareness talks/sessions a year. In his role he takes every opportunity to spread the Good News, “Call Before You Dig”. He is an expert in the field and has a large passion for the industry for many years. He has been in his current role since 2001, where his responsibilities take him all over the state. He has over 50 years of utility experience.
