Hygiene, SCGC presents safety awards to promote greater interest in the prevention of occupational injuries and illnesses. Members with outstanding safety records will be recognized at the Annual Awards Luncheon.
Companies participating in the safety council program are eligible for recognition for safety excellence in the following categories:
– lowest incident rate in each SCGC group
– 25% reduction in incident rate from the previous year
– one year without a lost-time injury or illness
– at least 500,000 hours and at least six months without a lost-time injury
